Rules of transfer to the Faculty of Global Studies MSU. Admission to the Faculty of Global Studies MSU on the second and subsequent years of studying and transfer for studying at MSU is going on a competitive basis for studying of bachelor and specialist training programs, if it does not contradict the legislation of the Russian Federation. According to the paragraph 31 of the Rules of Admission to the Moscow State University in 2014, a transfer application for studying at MSU can be received from persons enrolled in educational institutions of higher professional education. Transfer application for studying at the Faculty of Global Studies MSU (International Relations) on the second and subsequent years of studying for studying of specialist training program can be received from persons enrolled in educational institutions of higher professional education. Transfer application can also be received from persons, who were expelled of the educational institutions of higher education until the end of the period of study. Transfer applications are considered by the Attestation Commission of the Faculty once a year in June and approved at the meeting of the Central Admission Committee in July. During the academic year transfers are not implemented. Transfers to the first and graduating years are not allowed. List of documents required for consideration of the transfer to the Faculty of Global Studies MSU from other universities: – Personal application addressed to the Rector of the Moscow State University academician Sadovnichiy with pointing the course, branche, to which transfer is planned, with the conditions of studying: with the help of the budget of the Russian Federation / under the contract, with the hostel provision / without provision. The statement shall specify the reasons for transfer requests. – A photocopy of the student’s record-book, certified by the signature of bailee and the seal of the university (for persons enrolled in educational institutions of higher professional education) or the original academic transcript of a standard form (for those who was expelled of the educational institutions of higher education until the end of the period of study); – Transcript from the institution that the person is a student of the university of a particular course with stating the form of studying (full time / correspondence, day / night, budget / contract). – Copies of documents proving identity and citizenship of the person (pages with name and stamp of the registration). – The original or a photocopy of the state standard document of education; – Documents confirming the reason for the transfer (except applications for transfer “on their own”); – 8 photos 3×4 (black and white or color image without headgear on matte paper made in the current year). Papers should be submitted to the Faculty of Global Studies (The1 humanitarian corps MSU, 11 floor, r. 1169). All documents must be provided to the admissions committee personally by a man, who is going to transfer to the Faculty of Global Studies in Russian or in a notarized translation into Russian language. Transfers and enrollment to senior courses are carried out on a competitive basis by results of certification. Certification includes: – identification of differences in curricula – identification of subjects, which possible not to pass again – Testing in a foreign language. If a positive decision on the transfer, after the meeting of the Central Admission Committee, is taken, the student is given a certificate of a standard form. In case of equal results of certification, preferential rights have persons studying at similar faculties and having good reasons (moving to permanent residence in Moscow, the necessity to change the specialty for health reasons). Transfers of students from other universities to to the Faculty of Global Studies are carried out on a contract (paid) basis. Transfers are carried out only from the state universities on related specialties in case of availability. Transfers from private universities are not allowed. Transfers to the budget places (places financed from the federal budget) is carried out only if there are valid reasons for the transfer. The desire to study in the Moscow State University is not a valid reason. The quantity for transfer into the budget and enroll in senior courses is determined by the difference between the planned numbers of the relevant year and the actual number of students in the relevant course. At the University, where the student studied previously: – On the basis of a certificate and a personal application of the student within 10 days an order of the dismissal must be issued in connection with the transfer to another university; – Student is handed out a document on education, on the basis of which he was enrolled in high school; – An academic transcript of established sample is issued. In case of availability of all documents an order to transfer to the Faculty of Global Studies is issued by the rector of Moscow State University. Student, who transferred into the second and subsequent courses, is given a schedule of elimination of differences in curricula by the order of the Dean (no more than one academic year).
