The Reports of the exchange students from Southwestern University of Finance and Economics (Chengdu, China)
On October 2012 six students (Li Yuan, Liu Ruiwen, Sun Jiangying, Xin Kaixuan, Xuan Yang, Zhangjie) from Southwestern University of Finance and Economics arrived in Moscow and began their exchange study life at the Faculty of Global studies, Lomonosov Moscow State University. The three-month study made the students more mature and aspirant. The following are their thoughts about the exchange study.

Idea of the faculty of global study

First of all, I would like to thank the professors, teachers and students who gave me guidance and help during my exchange study at the faculty of global study. Three-month study left me unforgettable and pleasant memories.
During the process of course study, students impressed me with wide horizon of knowledge and excellent linguistic competence. Most students had access of at least three kinds of languages and they could speak good English. Students who learnt Chinese also could communicate with us smoothly. The teaching is vivid and tightly connected with current events. Newest management concepts, the trend of global economy, the situation of regional integration are understood in depth and we got inspired. Through communication with teachers and study of Russian history, we experienced broad and profound culture of Russia.
Many brilliant professors and teachers gather in the Faculty of Global Study. The spirit of “all-embracing” is fully demonstrated here. She is emerging and keeps in step with the development of the time, which is showed during the course study and communication with teachers and students. She is competitive. We expanded our scope of knowledge here and upgraded to a higher level. She is inclusive with students from Russia and other parts of the world here. Collision and communication of different culture stimulates the progress of the faculty. Plus, she is a window which gave us the opportunity of exchange study and recognizing new Russia and the local conditions and customs.
The experience in faculty of global study is the treasure of my memory.
Study Report

The four months that I studied at the Faculty of global studies of MoscowStateUniversity as an exchange student is the most unforgettable memory in my life. When I first came to this unfamiliar city, I was worried about myself. But under the friendly help of the teachers and students in the faculty, I overcame the problems of language, living habits and other aspects. I have set up deep feelings with local students. We usually went to shops, visited places of interest and cooked together. To my mind, this faculty is a very young, full of vigor and the potential for the development. There are many outstanding teachers and students at this faculty. Many students of this faculty can speak two or three, even four kinds of language easily, which surprised me a lot. Whats more, when I communicated with them in class, the students there have deep political and economic background knowledge. They can speak some words of depth. Their courses are very combined with practical problems which is total different with us. They take care of the problems of European Union, the problems of Gaza, and other problems. Last but not least, the teachers there are very patient, I can ask any questions if I dont know.
My Impression

It was the honor for me to have the opportunity to study at MoscowUniversity which has long history and profound background. This is my first time to be abroad. Ill miss the life and kind friends in Moscow.
People say the reason why we like a place is because we like the people there. It was pleasure to make friends in Moscow. Then we could go to opera, museums and shops. Honestly, theirs warmness made me not feeling lonely. I had the chance to go to the famous Red Square, the MoscowRiver, beautiful parks. All these made me happy. Before I came to Moscow, I considered the cold weather there. But after I came to Moscow, I was deeply impressed by the trees in October. The leaves were so beautiful in breeze. The city under snow was so pure.
The study at MoscowUniversity is different from that in China, which is a special experience in my life. I want to express my thanks to our teachers. Thanks to Mrs. Olga Kornienko, from you we learned a lot about European countries. Thanks to Mrs. Alla Kiseleva, you were so friendly, we felt so impressed by your party. Thanks to Mr. Vladimir Maslov, we saw charm from the professor. Thanks to Mrs. Elena Vasezova, your class was beautiful just like you. Thanks to Alexandra, you helped us so much. Thanks to all the kind teachers and friends.
I hope you can come to China and then we can show you our Chinese culture.
My exchange life in Moscow

First of all, I really appreciate my period in Moscow. During it I had the opportunity to listen to Russian opera which was one of my priority plans. Culture differences cross from my mind when going through Red Square, The State Tretyakov Gallery, PushkinMuseum and others. And the most important thing is that I am really happy to be friends with Russian. I have learned a lot from communicating with them.
Secondly, the involvement of students, the good patience of the teachers and the enthusiastic atmosphere gave me refreshing impression in the class. The class is more like a conference which gives the students more chances to practice. However, if we could have more chance to have class with Russian students, it may be more perfect.
The last but not least, I would like to express my appreciation to our coordinator, Alya, for her timely help in Moscow. We cannot have such good experience without this help.
