Vyacheslav A. Nikonov

Ph.D., Dean, School of Public Administration, Lomonosov Moscow State University.

Dr. Nikonov is a member of the scientific council of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a member of the presidium of the Council for International and Defense policy, the chairman of the Russian national committee of the The Council for Security Cooperation in the Asia-Pacific (CSCAP), a board member of the Russian socio-political center, chairman of the board of the National BRICS Research Committee, chairman of the board of the "Russkiy Mir" Foundation.

In 2011 Dr. Nikonov was elected to the State Duma, where he heads the education committee. He is also a member of the collegium of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation.

Dr. Nikonov’s research focuses on global management problems, international organizations in the modern world, US history, international relations and Russian foreign policy.

Dr. Nikonov is the editor-in-chief of "Moscow University Bulletin. Series 21. Public Administration" (Вестник Московского университета. Серия 21. Управление (государство и общество)), "The Russian Strategy" (Стратегия России), and serves as a vice chairrnan of the board of editors of "Russia in Global Affairs" (Россия в глобальной политике).
