Expertise in a Modern Organization

This article focuses on the role of expertise and expert procedures in organizational management. The author shows that the concept of expertise is complex and multi-faceted. This concept is determined in an organizational and managerial context. The author outlines the directions of current development of expertise and marks the main steps of expert procedures. The structure and content of each step is explored and formulated. This article reveals the role of expertise in decision-making process. It also summarizes current classifications of expertise and discusses the main characteristics of each type of expert procedures in modern organizations.
