A Study of Innovative Activity Motivation

The article studies the formation of socially oriented management mechanism of innovation management. The main goal of this article is to study the motivational component of innovation management. The study of motivation in innovation management at the level of enterprises and organizations, from our point of view, is the key issue in the formation of the national innovation system in Russia. We have studied the key factors-motivators, as well as the elements of the innovation activity of enterprises and organizations. According to the research results we have analyzed the key factor- motivators in the structure of innovative activity that can be used in the formation and improvement of the socially-oriented innovation management mechanism. We also gave our vision of adding and developing the models of measuring power of motivation in V. Vrum’s and D. Adkinson’s concepts. We conclude that knowledge management is the key process in innovation management, so we have studied the key factors that could help this process to be more effective. We presented the ideal structure of organizational culture for innovation activity. We used the Kano method for studying key factors-motivators, and the methodology of Cameron and Quinn for studying organizational culture.
