Management of Regional Life Quality: Effectiveness Evaluation and Mechanism

The paper explores the conceptual model for effectiveness evaluation of quality of life management. This model considers management as a managerial action, including both the process of management and its consequences. The method of effectiveness evaluation of quality of life management is presented. The methodical emphasis is shifted from "management of the cost" to "management of the results". The method is based on the index method. This method is based on the comparison of the managerial effectiveness of the process and its consequences in 8 components of quality of life and in whole. The results of the evaluation are presented in the form of a grouping of subjects of the Russian Federation. The map of selection mechanism of quality of life management is created according to these results.
