The article presents a review of the round table “War, Revolution, Ukraine” held at the School of Public Administration of the Moscow State University within the series of academic events “From October 17th to October 1917”. The discussion covered a wide range of problems related to the history of WWI and the revolution (1917–1922) in Ukraine including their causes and consequences, the formation of Ukrainian national identity and the sources of Ukrainian nationalism.
