Evolution of theories considering sociocultural regulation

This article examines a notion of sociocultural space and main stages of theoretical conceptualization of sociocultural regulation. The authors describe the evolution of soсiocultural theories from theories dealing with various forms of dominant social groups’ ideological supremacy to theories concerning subjectless power of ideal structures (ideology, ideas, language) and application-oriented conceptions of critical discourse analysis describing interrelation between objective factors and regulating subject.
