Media Image of Authorities (on the Example of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation)

The article examines the media image of a federal executive authority — Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation. The main topical blocks with reference to the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation are composed on basis of the analysis of media publications.
The positive and negative aspects of the Russian Ministry of Justice media image have been revealed. Based on the research the author draws conclusions about the possibilities of a more effective media image management. Media image of authority is considered by the author as a management resource capable of enhancing the scope of influence on decision-making process and impact on public opinion, to ensure the legitimacy of decisions.
