In an information society the communication component of political processes, economic transformations and political conflicts comes on the foreground. The analysis of communication strategy of the developed countries and summarizing the available data on communicative aspect of terrorist and antiterrorist activities is highly relevant and important. The primary task of this article is to analyze the reaction of public authorities to acts of terrorism on the example of the government of Spain after the tragic events of March 11th, 2004.
