In the current dynamic social transformation processes the biggest changes is internal — psychosocial nature of man and the society in general, which are rightly regarded through the analysis of epochal cycles. Within them, in a holistic natural sense, not only are the main social processes formed and disintegrate, but also different vectors of social development coincide. This fact has actualized the need to explore the existing trends in the development of the phenomenon of authority in the Postmodern era. In the Postmodern era, semantic structure of plurality is implemented. Authoritative power is perceived by people, because they trusted the representative of the authorities, if one acts in accordance with the public vision of justice. In the theory and practice of state management the question of a correlation between authority and authoritarianism is an important issue, and so are the problems of ethics, coercion, faith and trust.

Keywords

Authority, social cycle, evolutionary period, Postmodern.
