The purpose of the article is to analyze the legal position of the European Court of Human Rights on the enforcement of judicial decisions by the domestic public authorities. The problems of enforcement of court decisions against these authorities are provided in this article. The Court’s position is that the execution of judgment is a part of the obligation of states to ensure the access to justice in accordance with Article 6 of the European Convention on Human Rights. It is shown that governments need to comply with judicial decisions without further formality burdens.
