Interactive Teaching of Management Specialties: Peculiarities, Basic Forms, Examples

Modern approaches to teaching are a topic of interest to any teacher. This article deals with such forms of interactive learning as “business game” and “case study”. The author analyses its essence and objectives, peculiarities in organising working sessions with students and provides specific examples. Key feature of interactive teaching which differentiates it from traditional teaching is the active role of students whereas the teacher takes on a controlling function and summarises outcome of the learning session. As experience shows this practice helps students to acquire skills to solve management problems more effectively, to engage in business communications and to develop professional creativity.
