The article is dedicated to the analysis of the experience of risk management implementation in public administration of Great Britain, Canada, and the United States of America. Using the methodology of corporate risk management increases the efficiency of public authorities and is the basis of public administration modernization towards the introduction of “new public management”. It is emphasized that risk management implementation in public management activities needs changing the organizational culture of the state bodies, application change management tools, and development a clear methodical guide to implementation of this methodology. Based on this analysis, the author makes some recommendations for successful application of integrated risk management in the activities of public authorities of the former Soviet Union states.
