Communicative terrorism counteraction in national and international security

The author makes an attempt to identify the main problems existing in the field of communicative counteraction to terrorism, looking for the possible ways to formulate the new messages to discredit terrorism, the crisis communications’ possibilities during and after the terrorist attack. The author also analyzes the socio-psychological researches of the membership of the terrorist groups and the target audiences of their propaganda. The analysis is based on the EU materials and prepared within the Federal Special-Purpose Programme “Scientific & Pedagogic Personnel of Innovative Russia”, developed for the period of 2009–2013 by the Russian Federation Ministry of Education and Science.
