Government as a Brand: the Results of a Survey of Faculty of Public Administration Students from

Globalization significantly changes the relationships between government andsociety, which are partly based on branding. A strong brand for a government is an important condition for the attraction of resources. These resources are needed for further development and enhancement of the quality of life. Despite its importance for modern Russia, there is little scientific research addressing this area today. The article presents the questionnaire “Government as a brand” developed by the author, including the first test results. The findings touch on such issues as the image of Russia abroad, the national identity of Russian citizens, Moscow as a world financial center, etc.
