Today mentoring is one of the most popular methods of personnel training. If properly used it helps to achieve great results in education and adaptation of new staff with minimal costs. Estimation of efficiency of mentoring is an important part of the education process, but unfortunately many companies do not pay enough attention to it. Correct estimation of efficiency of mentoring should take into account economical and social-psychological features of this method of adaptation and education of staff. According to the study of different models of estimation of efficiency of staff education – Donald Kirpatrik’s model is the most effective for mentoring. This model includes economical and social-psychological features of mentoring by using the four levels of learning evaluation. It can represent quantitative and qualitative indices of efficiency. The model defines three main quality parameters, each corresponding to one of the three main factors of training - the mentor, the pupil and the management process.
