The Department of land resources carries out research in the field of assessment, protection and rational use of land and water resources. The main tasks of the Department is the development of methods for effective land management aimed at sustainable development and food security, implementing technology for soil protective land using, analysis of the current state of land resources, assessment of land degradation and water quality reduction. Employees of the Department carry out a comprehensive work on the establishment of databases of soil resources and groundwater, as well as predictive maps and models of land and water degradation.

The Department of land resources is headed by doctor of biological Sciences Pavel Krasilnikov. Krasilnikov P. V. graduated from the faculty of Soil science of MSU named after M. V. Lomonosov in 1992. Candidate of biological Sciences (1996), doctor of biological Sciences (2009). Fellow, Institute of biology, Karelian Research centre of RAS: 1993-1996 Junior researcher, 1996 - 1997 - research fellow, group leader; 1997-2001 - senior researcher, group leader; 2001-2011 - head of the laboratory of ecology and soil geography. Member of the Central Council of the V. V. Dokuchaev society of soil scientists. Vice-Chairman of the Commission 1.4. "Soil classification" of the International society of soil science for the period 2010 - 2014. Member of the editorial boards of the journals Boletin de la Sociedad Geologica Mexicana (Mexico) and Geoderma (Elsevier). Reviewer of international journals TERRA Laninoamericana, Investigaciones Geograficas, and Boletin de la Sociedad Geologica Mexicana (Mexico), Ciencia del Suelo (Argentina), Catena, Geoderma, Geomorphology (Elsevier), Geographical Analysis (Dallas, USA), African Journal of Agricultural Research and Journal of Ethnomedicine and Etnobiology. P. V. Krasil'nikov is the author of more than 120 scientific papers. |

Lomonosov Moscow state University in 2003, Candidate of agricultural Sciences (2010). 2003-2011 - Department of Genesis and reclamation of salt-affected soils Soil Institute. V. V. Dokuchaev. Research interests: computer image processing, image analysis, soil cartography, arid areas, structure of soil cover. The author more than 50 scientific papers. |

Yulia golovlyova A. тАУ engineer of the 1st category of the Department of land resources. Working in the Department since January 2014 Yu Golovlyov graduated from the faculty of soil science Moscow state University. M. V. Lomonosov in 2014, specialty "soil science. Soil geography". Currently, Y. A. Golovlyov is a master of soil science faculty of MSU named after M. V. Lomonosov majoring in "land Management". In 2014, Julia held internships at the Institute of Earth Sciences (G. Orleans, France), and in 2015 тАУ training at Galilee International Management Institute (Mizra Kibbutz, Israel). Also, in 2014, Yulia took part in the 20th International Congress of soil science held in Jeju, South Korea. In 2015, Yulia participated in the global soil week 2015 (Berlin, Germany), in the VI-th all-Russian scientific conference on forest soil science with international participation "Fundamental and applied questions in forest soil science" (Syktyvkar, Komi Republic, Russia) and in the International Congress of soil science "soil science in international year of soils 2015" (Sochi, Russia).
