Term mixture regarding solar chemical composition refers to relative abundances of heavy elements. Abundances of hydrogen and helium cannot be determined reliably from observations, therefore concentration of these elements are not taken from observational data. The abundances are usually presented as numeric relative abundances assuming number of hydrogen atoms equals 10^12. Numbers in the table below are decimal logarithms of the numeric abundances. In other words, [C] = 8.56 means that 10^8.56 atoms of oxygen are related to 10^12 atoms of hydrogen. Table contains only elements which are abundant enough to be included into opacity and equation of state computations. If you open original publications (see references below) you'll find they contain many more elements. First "low-Z abundances" to be published were AGS05.
