Title : The Enygma Disaster
Filename : ENYGMA.WAD
Author : Pete Kolts (Psyborg)
Email Address : psyborg@mhv.net
Misc. Author Info : Psychotic

Description : An invasion force has taken an old mining camp
and converted it into a base in which to implement
the destruction of our world. They constructed
devastating explosives and chemical weapons. Their
plan worked, and we were unable to stop them in
time. The Enygma Camp became Ground Zero, your
mission is to go there and eradicate the invaders,
and set the self-destruct, guarded by 2 HUGE
monsters which we have never enountered before.
You must prevent a repeat of the Enygma Disaster.

Additional Credits to : Justin Rowe, Mike Gasperian for some design help
-------------------------------------------------
Weird Al Yankovic, because I was listening to his

Play Testers : Justin Rowe
Hints : -Look and push all the crates.
-Use the map a lot, especially when you get the
computer map

-Ambushes are frequent

* Play Information *

Game : DOOM I/Ultimate Doom
Episode and Level # : E1M1, E1M2, E1M9-if you can find it.
NOTE: If you go to E1M9, you will automatically
be brought back to E1M4 at the end, in which case
you will have to exit the game. At the end of E1M2,
you can also exit, as that is the end of the game.
Single Player : Yes
Cooperative 2-4 Player : Yes, untested, possibly not enough weapons and ammo
and health for 2-4 people. Of course if you want
to make it a co-op WAD, just put some other
goodies in there.
Deathmatch 2-4 Player : Only E1M1, untested, but it seems very good. Again,
If you want to make it a dm WAD, just add/modify
or move items as you want to.
Difficulty Settings : Easy = 1, 2 and 3. Hard = 4 and 5
New Sounds : Yes
New Graphics : Yes, some textures from Doom 2 that I needed and
some that I made myself. (e.g. energy field)
New Music : Yes, some midis that I got from www.midifarm.com
E1M1 is music by Nirvana
Demos Replaced : One, watch it only if you are totally lost in the
level, because it shows you EVERYTHING.

* Construction *

Base : New level from scratch
Build Time : About 6 months on and off, although it didn't come
out quite the way I wanted it to, some parts are
kinda boring.
Cans of Coca-Cola drank : Over 1,000 ;)
Editor(s) used : DCK v3.61, WARMDos-that crashed when the level
BLOCKMAP was too big. Then I used ZenNode that
comes with DCK. I used WARMDOS for the REJECT table

Known Bugs : 2 bugs:
1. the switch by the energy field, walk back
and forth and keep trying to press it, it
doesn't always work.

2. At the part with "Run" and "Run Fast" (you will
know what I mean), DON'T TURN AROUND. If you do, it
will crash the game and drop you to dos with a
"visplanes overflow". So even with the Imps in the
next room, don't fight them, just run.

Any other wrong things you find about it, please
tell me! Also, please send any comments you have
about it to me.
