Lomonosov 2016
International Conference for Students and Young Scientists "Lomonosov"
Section of the international conference "Lomonosov" is held since 1998 by the Department of Materials Science and Inorganic Division of Chemical Department (both MSU), Russian Academy of Sciences. The section’s main goals are the promotion of the work by young researchers and to bring together young students interested in the field of materials science from Lomonosov Moscow State University, different research centers in Russia (St. Petersburg , Yekaterinburg, Belgorod, Ufa) and near abroad (scientific centers of Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Bulgaria, etc.). Key themes of section are investigation in the field of functional materials and nanomaterials (magnetic nanocomposites, ceramic nanocomposites, photonic crystals, fullerenes and nanotubes), biomaterials and construction materials design. In 2015 the conference was attended by 120 young scientists.
