The molar enthalpy of reaction of the Y2Ba4Cu7O14.916 high-temperature superconductor with 1.07 N HCl has been determined by the solution calorimetry. This datum and set of experimental values of thermodynamic functions from literature have been processed simultaneously in order to obtain the most reliable Gibbs energy of the Y2Ba4Cu7O14+w phase in the temperature range from 250 K to 1300 K
