Adsorption databank. Physico-Chemical Characteristics of Vapor Adsorption on Zeolites

Abstract

Different variants of experimental data processing of vapor adsorption on zeolites are analyzed in connection of creation of adsorption databank. It is shown that the most complete and reliable characteristics of adsorption systems could be obtained with combination of Dubinin-Astachov equation with the equation system ensuing from the Ono-Kondo model and stoichiometric and osmotic theories with corresponding assumptions about concentration dependence of adsorbat activity coefficients. The obtained parameters are recommended to be included in adsorption databank in addition to initial experimental information.
