Publication Ethics and Publication Malpractice Statement
Publication Ethics and Publication Malpractice Statement

The journal of Vychislitel'nye Metody i Programmirovanie endorses and behaves in accordance with the codes of conduct and international standards established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE, http://publicationethics.org). Here we clearly state the following principles of Publication Ethics and Publication Malpractice Statement. All papers not in accordance with these standards will be removed from the publication if malpractice is discovered at any time. All submitted papers are evaluated in the standard single-blind peer review process involving at least two reviewers. We also check for plagiats and research fabrication and falsification.
Authors must ensure that they submit original works and that the submitted manuscript has not been issued elsewhere. Any works or words of other authors or sources should be appropriately referenced. Authors submitting their works for publication as original papers confirm that the submitted works represent their authors' contributions and have not been copied or plagiarized in whole or in part from other works without clear citing. If authors have used their own previously published works (or works are that are currently under review) as the basis of the submitted paper, they are required to cite the previous works and indicate how their submitted paper offers novel contributions beyond those of the previous works. It is important to list everyone who made a significant scientific contribution to the submitted paper, including students and laboratory technicians. All authors should disclose financial or other conflicts of interest that might influence the results of interpretation of their manuscripts. When an author discovers an error or inaccuracy in the published work, it is the author's obligation to promptly notify the executive editor and cooperate with the executive editor to correct the paper. All papers must be submitted using online submission procedure. Submitting a paper to more than one publication at a time is a breach of publication ethics.
Editors must ensure the standard single-blind peer review process for any submitted paper. They should prevent any potential conflicts of interests between the authors and the editorial and review personnel. Editors must also ensure that all the information related to submitted papers is kept as confidential before publishing. Editor-in-Chief coordinates the work of the editors.
Reviewers and editors evaluate the submitted papers based on content without regards to ethnic origin, gender, age, sexual orientation, citizenship, religion belief, or political philosophy of the authors. They must keep the confidentiality concerning the submitted papers before publishing and must report to the Editor-in-Chief if they become aware of copyright infringement and plagiarism on the authors' side. The reviewers must evaluate the submitted papers objectively and formulate their opinions on the works in a clear way. A reviewer who feels unqualified to review the research reported in the submitted paper or feels incapable to formulate a qualified conclusion on the reviewed paper in a reasonable time period should notify the Editor-in-Chief.
