E-mail: lmis@miem.edu.ru The distribution of electromagnetic field in sheet materials placed in microwave devices based on one-dimensional periodic slow-wave structures are investigated. The influence of width and period variation of slow-wave structures on the distribution of temperature field are also investigated. The results obtained confirm the possibility of even heating of treated samples.
