Worldwide industrial parks are created to accelerate the growth of innovative companies in industries that are a priority for the economic development of the territories. As the CEO of the International Association of Science Parks (IASP, Spain) Luis Sanz, at a press conference on the summit, despite the fact that the concept of industrial parks for 50 years, every year the number of new industrial parks is increasing worldwide. "This means that industrial parks have proven effective for economic development," - said Sanz. According to him, the heads of industrial parks should pay attention to two key principles of development: industrial parks should be international and actively collaborate with colleagues in other countries as well - integrated with the urban environment.
About interacting with technology parks of the city, in turn, said the first deputy head of the Department of Science, Industrial Policy and Entrepreneurship in Moscow Michael Ahn. According to him, before government agencies have an important task: to change the structure of the economy, business, scientific and innovative environment to move from fragmented forms of support and individual success stories to a single innovation system. Today in Moscow has already formed the normative base, created about 10 infrastructure areas, which are generated based on a variety of innovative structures - parks, business incubators, accelerators, co-working centers and, of course, Technopolis - Moscow to sign a project to create an entire city science and technology. "The company has a large request for the establishment of such services - said Michael Ahn. - It is important to make these projects successful, and for this it is necessary to solve the problem of availability of qualified personnel and the establishment of effective management teams."
According to Anastasia Tyurinа, General Director of the Innovation Center HSE - one of the organizers of the summit, this fact has identified an important theme of the event - increasing the professional level of technology parks and business incubators. "Russian industrial parks today lack the professional specialists who are ready to offer real help innovative companies to develop their business, entering new markets, attracting investment," - she said. That is why the HSE Innovation Center has been actively involved in developing and implementing educational programs to raise the level of competence of specialists technology parks, said Anastasia Tyurinа.
Deputy General Director - Director of Project Office "RVC" Yevgeny Kuznetsov added that venture capital firms are also interested in the fact that the industry had a high level of expertise, which currently does not meet the needs of industrial parks.
