Research experience:
     Experience in the techniques of isolation and characterisation of humic substances and their fractions. Experience in methods of hydrolyses and chemical modification of humic substances. During visit to GSF (Germany) – experience in investigation of humic acids structure by ¹H and ¹³C NMR spectroscopy techniques.
Field of scientific interests:
     Initial area of scientific interest – the study of interaction of humic substances with mercury and its interrelationship with humic acids structure. Current research activity is dealing with investigation of structure of hydrolyses products of humic substances by methods of NMR spectroscopy.
