Moscow State University and DLC Republic of Dagestan, the project MSU “University without Borders”

August 20, 2014 Moscow State University hosted a video conference between the Centre for Development of electronic educational resources MSU and distance learning centers in Dagestan.

The videoconference was held as part of a new project of MSU “University without borders” – one of the first major projects of the leading Russian universities to provide distance education opportunities.
The interaction between the Moscow University and the Center for Distance Learning in Republic of Dagestan is a result of fruitful cooperation in the framework of the Cooperation Agreement, signed November 18, 2013 by Moscow State University Rector Academician Victor Antonovich Sadovnichii and the President of the Republic of Dagestan, R.G. Abdulatipov.

The purpose of the videoconference is interim certification students of distance learning courses, identify areas of future work, as well as a discussion of the most interesting and complex issues relating to the development of distance training.

Lomonosov Moscow State University is actively engaged in the support of the Russian language as a means of international communication, including developing a network of remote training courses for teachers of Russian national schools of Russia.

In addition to teachers from Dagestan the meeting was also attended by the Minister for State Property Management of the Republic of Dagestan Z.K. Yuzbekov and Deputy Head of the Department of Education of Makhachkala Z.N. Bagdueva.
