Main Directions of Scientific Research:

  • Systems with different structures. Investigations of polarization mechanisms, conductivity and relaxation processes in 2D polymer systems (Langmuir-Blodgett films), 3D polymer networks, semicrystalline polymers, crystals.
  • Materials with hydrogen bonds. Determination of the character of influence of hydrogen bond structure (including bound water) on electric properties of ferroelectric materials.
  • Ionic liquids (ILs) and IL-based polymers. Study of new functional materials with high ionic conductivity. (Collaboration with INEOS RAS.)
  • Water in polymers. Investigations of polymer-water interactions for modeling of properties of biopolymers.
