School overview

Higher School of Management and Innovation (Faculty of Lomonosov MSU) was founded in June 2006 by the Academic Council on the initiative of the Moscow State University Rector, academician V.A. Sadovnichiy and Chairman of the Board of Directors of JSFC "Sistema" V.P. Yevtushenko.

The Faculty sees its mission in the training of highly modern and competitive professionals who will be ready to work on the global market of goods, services, innovations, etc. and who will be able to become Leaders in this field. The Faculty is proud of the fact that it has been training specialists for the seven years of its existence and that its graduates are successfully operating in such large companies as JSFC "Sistema", OJSC "Mobile TeleSystems (MTS) ", JSOC "Bashneft", JSC "RTI", OJSC "Detskiy Mir", etc.

The basis of the educational practice of the Faculty is a traditional university education combined with corporate specialization. Due to that, there is continuous learning process that not only performs the function of teaching, but also provides continuous communication of higher education with the needs of business, timely and adequately considering their changes.

Educational process is based on the Master?s educational programme "Strategic Management and Innovation", which is part of the "Management" specialization in general. In accordance with this programme students receive fundamental and theoretical knowledge and practical skills of management. The programme lasts for two years of study. Education is full-time and paid. Graduates who successfully pass the state exam in the specialty and pass the state certification by protecting Master's theses will receive MSU state standard diploma and become Masters of Management.

To prepare future professionals to solve real-world problems, students are directly involved in solving management problems of the Faculty?s partner companies; in solving real cases and participating in business games, during which they analyze the specific experience and practice of foundation, ensuring a successful operation and development of high-tech Russian and foreign companies. Practical base of the Faculty, that allows attracting practitioners to the educational process, consists of corporate universities with the participation of the Faculty - educational departments of large business-structures.
