The new intstrument rotator was delivered today. Note that the rotator is loaded as the front of the truck bed, thus making it impossible for the truck to back out onto the pier. The fork lift is fitted with the boom extension to maneuver the box out to the pier. The crate is lifted off the truck and walked out to the pier. The rotator is stored in the enclosure and our happy truck drivers hed off to their next delivery. Pictures taken by Gretchen Van Doren/Apache Point Observatory.
