. Это первая карта поверхности Плутона, созданная на основе 4 снимков космического телескопа им. Хаббла, сделанных им в конце июня - начале июля 1994 года. Карта покрывает примерно 85% поверхности Плутона. На ней виден темный экваториальный пояс и яркие полярные шапки.
