. NEVER look directly at the sun without a proper solar filter! . We have lots of different equipment available for use. Here you see our 6" solar filters. Our club always recommends that you use a FULL APERTURE solar filter. In the picture you will notice a TYPE 2 filter for VISUAL use and a TYPE 3 filter for PHOTOGRAPHIC use. Here is an easy way to remember which type solar filter you need for VISUAL OBSERVING: You have 2 EYES so you need a TYPE 2 filter!! .
