... These images were also featured as the "Astronomy Picture of the Day" on March 23 and July 1 , 1998. We obtained Hubble Space Telescope WFPC2 images of the starburst galaxy NGC 1808 with the F675W, F658N, and F814W filters. Many star clusters are resolved in the circumnuclear region, as well as in the galactic bar, which likely plays a role in feeding the starburst. ...
