In this paper we review our results on the properties and evolution
of isolated neutron stars. We calculate space distributions
of these objects for different assumptions about the kick velocity
and show, that the distribution has a torus-like structure.
We calculate the evolution of isolated neutron stars
with and without magnetic field decay and give characteristic parameters
for these cases with applications to ROSAT X-ray sources.
And finaly, our most recent results are connected with the type distribution
of isolated neutron stars in the Galaxy. We show, that for kick
velocities about several hundred km/s (as it is proposed by radiopulsars
observations) most neutron stars are not at the Accretor stage but
at the Ejector stage and can not be observed as X-ray sources.
