The XMM-Newton SciSim Team

The XMM-Newton Science Simulator has been designed and implemented by the SciSim team of the XMM-Newton Science Operations Center, located at Estec until 2003. The following people have contributed:

• Jon Brumfitt (OSIM,CSIM,GUI,libs)
• Marco Beijersbergen (MSIM,GSIM,CSIM,libs)
• Hassan Siddiqui (CSIM,GSIM,SPSIM)
• Peter Videler (RSIM)
• Jorgo Bakker (ESIM/RFCSIM,SPSIM,ODF, libs, porting, updates)
• Lalit Jalota (ESIM)

The package is now under maintenance and further development by the SAS and SciSim maintenance team of the XMM-Newton Science Operations Center at ESAC. Following people work specifically on SciSim matters:

• Aitor Ibarra (maintenance, updates, libs, porting)
• Carlos Gabriel (calibration and SAS analysis related aspects)
