SciSim v2.0.2 is a bug fix release of SciSim and contains only minor changes compared to v2.0.1.
 

• Size reduction

Reduced the size of the binary package dramatically:
Solaris: ~45% of original size
Linux:   ~63% of original size
 
• Simple directory structure

The directory structure of the binary package is simplified to:

bin/	binaries
config/	default configuration
data/	default data files of binaries
help/	html & postscript help files
lib/	shared library

 
• Shared library

SciSim is now using a shared library, in order to reduce impact on memory
 
• Multiple configuration files

When using scisim from the command line, it is now allowed to specify multiple configuration files. For example:
msim -c first.cfg -c second.cfg -c third.cfg < input > output
 
• Documentation outlook

The PostScript and html version of the documentation now have the same look-and-feel. Note that the html version is preferred, due to missing hyper links and images in the PostScript versions

The keywords in the ESim & RFCSim documentation are now listed in alphabetical order. Additionally, the structure of nested keywords is visualized.

Added documentation to the SciSim Tools.
 

• Copy and Paste in GUI

The copy and paste functionality of the mouse is now implemented for numeric widgets.
 
• New buttons and menu-items

The GUI the following buttons/menu-items are added:
• Menu-File-New Sources

Removes all (manual, catalogue and simulated) sources, and starts from scratch
• Menu-Sources-Edit...-Delete All

Deletes all manually created sources
 
• Added functionality to ssimexport

The ssimexport tool is expanded in order to filter on other event labels.
 
• Updated configuration and data-files
