SciSim v2.0.9 is a bug fix release of SciSim and contains only minor changes compared to v2.0.4. The input (configuration & data) files, as well as the ODF products are compatible with previous versions.

Version gap?

During the First Announcement of Opportunity, AO-1, SciSim releases were frozen. Meanwhile, bugs were fixed in SciSim such that the XMM SAS-team could continue the development of the Scientific Analysis Software.
As a result version 2.0.5-2.0.8 were not released to the external world.

ODF changes:

• CCDOCB keyword was sometimes filled with garbage (RGS).
• CCDID keyword instead of CCD (MOS)
• Stripped the directory part from the ODF filenames in the ODF files
• Running the FTOOL fverify showed FITS incompliancy. A spurious end-of-header was written to the file
• renamed EOTCOARS to EOSCOARSE (RGS)
• renamed EOTFINE to EOSFINE (RGS)
• added column FTCOARSE (RGS)
• added column FTFINE (RGS)
• renamed CCDNODE to CCDNODES (RGS)
• changed units of  FRMTIME  (MOS) into 100 ms
• changed units of EOSFINE into 2^-16 s (RGS)
