May, 01, 2008 Modified the call to omgrism plot
in order to produce the PostScript file with spectra extraction
regions plotted over the grism rotated image.
May 22, 2007. The default parameter for the width of the
spectrum extraction region was set to 8 pixels because this is
what actually was used in the task omgrism due to a small bug.
The bug was fixed in Omgrism-1.17 (accompanying the
SSC-SPR-3660) so that omgchain is also adjusted to keep the spectrum
extraction region the same as it was before before.
January 31, 2007 The file names are modified such that they
include the symbol with the observation mode idenifies (S, U or X).
Previosly this symbol was fixed (S) since it was thought that the
observations are always sheduled (fixing SSC-SPR-3646)
November 11, 2006 Grism sky image is generated by the omatt task.
The parameters are adjusted to the more accurate computation of
the grism source coordinates (SSC-SPR-3633).
June 09, 2006 Using the retirn flag from omgprep-1.1.1 (non-zero
in the case of too small images) to stop processing the current exposure
because the spectra are not extractable from too small images (SSC-SPR-3606)
May 30th, 2006 An additional task introduced into the code (omatt)
in order to compute the right ascensions and declinations of the field
objects (SSC-SPR-3605)
September 07, 2005 The documentation corrected (SSC-SPR-3508),
the dependencies file is made consistent with the latest version
of omgrism.
September 09, 2004 The spectra list file
is now generated for both values of the parameter extractfieldspectra.
That is, when extracting even a single (target) spectrum the
the SPECLI-file will contain only one line. But having always
the same set of the output files would simplify understanding
the results by the user (SSC-SPR-3382).
July 26, 2004: V1.0.8 A new optional parameter is introduced
(extractfieldspectra) to switch between two modes: extraction only
the target or all the available spectra in the field
July 15, 2004: V1.0.7 Default options for the spectra
extraction region are changed from 3 to 6 pixels to avoid
the possibility of missing some of the spectra (SPR-3355)
May 20, 2004: V1.0.4 Engineering-2 sub-window
files are sorted at the input according to their names
in order to ensure combining of these sub-windows
into a single full-frame image (SSC-SPR-3324).
February 03, 2004 V1.0.2 Two parameters needed for omgrismplot
task are activated (scalebkgplot and plotflux);
the task omgrismplot
is modified to produce plots labeled with
the spectra identification numbers.
