Find a Free I/O Unit

This subroutine returns a number of a free I/O unit, i.e. one that is not currently allocated to and file. The calling sequence is:

    SUBROUTINE getFreeIoUnit(nunit)

    INTEGER, INTENT(out) :: nunit   ! unit number free for use
