Data Handling Subsystem

1 Introduction
The SAS data handling system provides the lower layers for the SAS. It takes care of all the external in-
terfaces of tasks and libraries, such as handling of parameters, accessing data les and handling/reporting
errors.
2 Components
The SAS data handling system consist of three parts:
 Error handling, package error
 Parameter interface, package param
 Data Access Layer, package dal
