ESAC Trainee (Alumni) Meeting, 24-Jul-2006, ESAC
Introduction
Scope of the meeting
To give the former trainees the opportunity to explain in a talk what they are doing now - give the new trainees some ideas what one can do after the training - letting the former trainees know what we are currently doing at ESAC regarding training - do some networking - have a small partySince 2004 a trainee project is carried out at ESAC where young scientists participate in space project scientifically operated from at the European Space Astronomy Centre (ESAC). Trainees from various Universities and the ESA Young Graduate Trainee Programme are involved.
The trainees as of now have been from the following universities:
- University Complutense de Madrid (Spain)
- University of Bonn (Germany)
- University of Tuebingen (Germany)
- University of Warwick (England)
In 2006 we will have in addition students from the following places:
- University Complutense de Madrid (Spain)
- Technical University of Aachen (Germany)
- Institute of Technology, Linköping, Sweden
Meeting
The meeting will start 24 July at 10:00 and end around 18:30.A social conference dinner is planned for 24 July at around 22:00 in Madrid. Restaurant TBD.
