The extent of the visible window in PN masked mode observations has been added to the
MISCDATA CCF as ve new keywords.
MASKX0=30 - Lower left hand corner of the mask in Raw-X coords
MASKY0=183 - Lower left hand corner of the mask in Raw-Y coords
MASKDX=13 - Width of the mask in RAW-X pixels
MASKDY=13 - Width of the mask in RAW-Y pixels
MASKCCD=4 - The CCD which hosts the mask
The left hand corner position is based upon CCD coordinates which run from 1 to 64 in
RAW-X and 1 to 200 in RAW-Y.
3 Scientic Impact of this Update
These keywords are read by the SAS pipeline and are necessary to reduce Epic-pn masked
mode data.

5 Test procedures and results
The new CCF le has been tested with epproc and has been found to be compatible with
the SAS.
