parameters

ESOC

· parameter browser: contains the list of all valid parameter names · multiple parameter retrieval is possible

features
· Setting of thresholds · Screening for parameters when not nominal (OOL) · Time window specification · Retrieval mode:
Interval by interval Packet by packet

ESOC

· Retrieval format: ASCI and others

BLACK HAT

· Mission Utility & Support Tools:

framework and collection of tools that support the analysis, visualization, exploration and exportation of telemetry and ancillary mission data

· includes a server and a suite of client applications.
server takes care of the importation, processing and storage of all required data, in order to provide the clients with fast access to calibrated data. clients retrieve the data through standardized interfaces from the repository via TCP/IP.

· developed for the Mission Control Technologies Unit by Black Hat, Spain and Solenix GmbH, Switzerland.

MUST Clients

ESOC

· GRAINS: a data analysis and visualization application that supports the spacecraft performance evaluation and data analysis. · Mobile Phone: alarms, based on the current spacecraft status, can be received as a SMS. · Telemetry Monitor: a website displaying subsets of parameters in tabular format · Virtual Spacecraft: a virtual reality model of the spacecraft that shows the spacecraft in 3D together with the thermal sensors displayed in a color-coded fashion · RadMon: provides estimations of the near Earth radiation environment based on long-term empirical models. The generated data is stored in the MUST server to be available to other clients, e.g. GRAINS

Conclusion
· You may get a tool to
see HK data in near real time retrieve HK parameter from all mission times (Get alerts in case of a special OOL)

· Why only after 10 years ? ... to guarantee that our retiring friends can watch XMM from home

MUST summary

ESOC

· MUST has been validated by the Smart-1 Mission for more than 1.5 years using around 1200 parameters. It has been very well appreciated as a complementary tool. · The parameter-based approach has proven to be a valid solution for MUST · MUST is a complementary data system to the already existing packet-based archiving systems. · MUST is a reference framework for introducing advanced applications for enhanced visualization, anomaly investigation, performance analysis, report generation, data exportation, etc.

· MUST is currently used by the ESA missions: SMART-1, Rosetta, Venus Express, Mars Express, INTEGRAL.
Euro ESA GSP Acknowledgment: MUST has been partially funded by the pean Space Operations Page 14
