Description

Three extensions, with two listing the ranges for GTI definition, for each of several parameters that are believed to affect science quality. The third extension provides descriptive translation from alphanumeric housekeeping parameter to a description recognisable by advanced carbon-based life-form .

The CCF contains the following tables:

HKPARMINT :
The table is used/accessed by:
Attributes:
None.
Columns:
PARM_NAME:
5-character short ID of parameter as found in the ODF HK data (e.g. F1123)
PARM_RANGE:
validity interval of the parameter in the form of a valid selectlib expression; '@' characters may be used instead of the parameter name; e.g. @ in [-91.0:-89.0]
TRANSLATION :
The table is used/accessed by: CAL_getHKwindows() Table to associate short (5 char) names with full, more meaningful ones; e.g. 'F1129' $->$ 'H_CE_TTMPS'; the longer names may be used in SAS tasks directly (e.g. 'hkgtigen')
Attributes:
None.
Columns:
SHORT_NAME:
five-character short name of parameters
LONG_NAME:
corresponding long name
AUXPAR :
The table is not used by the CAL at the moment. It was meant to provide validity intervals for auxiliary data
Attributes:
None.
Columns:
PARM_NAME:
parameter name (as in the AUX ODF tables)
PARM_RANGE:
validity interval of the parameter in the form of a valid selectlib expression; '@' characters may be used instead of the parameter name; e.g. @ in [-91.0:-89.0]
PARM_DESC:
description of parameter and associated information about validity expression
PARM_UNIT:
units of parameter
