Research Interests
I am an astrophysicist studying stellar evolution and stellar populations through the use of computational models. The primary goal is to determine certain properties of the observed stars, particularly their ages, and thereby learn about the formation and subsequent evolution of the Milky Way and other nearby galaxies. Comparing models with observations also provides valuable feedback as to how closely the models represent real stars and suggests where further improvements to the models are needed.
My research interests include:

- Stellar evolution of low and very-low mass stars
- The influence of specific chemical abundances on stellar models
- The origins of abundance variations in globular clusters
- Galaxy formation as traced by globular clusters

- The Cluster AgeS Experiment (CASE)
- The ACS Survey of Galactic Globular Clusters
