1999: Drafted report on the need for time-resolved spectroscopic facilities for the Dressler panel of NAS's "decadal study."

1996: Outreach to amateur photometrists in AAVSO. Involvement in long-term collaboration with professional astronomers.

1995: Participated in Astronomical Society of the Pacific's "Astro" meeting as session chair.

1994: Employed summer student and instructed her on data reduction/analysis techniques
(work resulted in two publications). Also participated in CSC's "EXPO".
