Although geriatric stars have been my main focus, their velocities, abundances, and distribution, lately my time has been spent building a radio receiver capable of observing in the FM band. With adaptive filter technology, if we can observe in the FM band, we can observe anywhere in the radio spectrum. Bench tests have been very encouraging. And the Rx has moved from my collaborator's garage to Green Bank Observatory. Progress.
