Generic Use Cases:

Case #1: Define and execute a simple display report option

1. Bring up GUI
2. select data groups menu
3. activate fields (radio buttons) to qualify the query
4. select/enter range values for each qualifying field
5. activate data fields (radio buttons) for display to file or window
6. specify sort order of fields for display
7. select menu option to record query selections, enter a unique report option name and save option
8. execute query
9. view result

Case #2: Define and execute a processed data plot option

1. Bring up GUI
2. select data groups menu
3. activate fields (radio buttons) to qualify the query
4. select/enter range values for each qualifying field
5. select tools library menu
6. activate (radio button) data processing tool(s)
7. select menu option to record query selections, enter a unique report option name and save option
8. execute query
9. view results in a new window (default)

Case #3: Select and execute a previously define report option with modified query range values

1. select a previously defined report option from menu
2. modify active query field range values
3. activate an additional query field and enter range values
4. execute modified report option
5. view results in a new window

Case #4: Select and execute a previously define report option with modified display fields

1. select a previously defined report option from menu
2. modify query field range values
3. execute modified report option
4. view results in a new window

Specific Use Cases:

Case #1: Retrieve STIS/MAMA CVZ visits whose plan windows are available in LRP 02035B over the interval 2002.049 - 2002.056. Display visit ids, est_orbits, SI usage summary, min/max plan windows, windowlet summary and future suitability summary.

1. select Visit Data menu from data groups menu
   • activate STIS/MAMA and CVZ "query" radio button
   • activate visit id, estimated orbits and SI usage "display" radio buttons
2. select LRP menu from data groups menu
   • activate LRP name "query" radio button and select LRP 02035A from automatically activated dropdown menu
3. select Window Data menu from data groups
   • activate min-max plan window, windowlet count and future suitability summary "display" buttons
4. select "save report options" menu, enter new report name "Available STIS/MAMA CVZ's" and save
5. execute report
6. view results

Case #2: Generate a resource plot for STIS/MAMA CVZ visits for the planning interval.

1. select Visit Data menu from data groups menu
   • activate STIS/MAMA and CVZ "query" radio button
2. select LRP menu from data groups menu
   • activate LRP name "query" radio button and select LRP 02035A from automatically activated dropdown menu
3. select Tools menu
   • activate "8 week weighted average", "current planning interval" and "Excel plot" buttons
4. select "save report options" menu, enter new report name "STIS/MAMA CVZ 8wk plot" and save
5. execute plot
6. view Excel

Case #3: Run report in Case #1 on LRP 02036A

1. select "Available STIS/MAMA CVZ's" report from the "report options" pulldown menu
2. select LRP menu from data groups menu and select LRP 02036A from automatically activated dropdown menu
3. execute report

Case #4: Rerun report in Case #3 with special requirement summary displayed, windowlet count removed.

1. select "Available STIS/MAMA CVZ's" report from the "report options" pulldown menu
2. select Visit Data menu from data groups menu
   • activate Special Requirements Summary radio button
3. select Window Data menu from data groups menu
   • deactivate Windowlet Count radio button
4. execute report
