You may never have to create a proposal, but you will have to use APT when you do make small changes to a proposal. It's a good idea to know how APT works because PIs may ask you for help using it.

Watch or read the following sections in the APT Training Materials: General APT Training Materials, Aladin Interface Training Materials, and Phase II Specific APT Training Materials.
Use APT to create a basic WFC3 program with M31 as the target. Make sure to add visits that use POS TARG Offsets and patterns. Use the APT Training Materials to help you create the patterns and POS TARGs. Try creating a basic mosaic and look at it in Aladin.
